The 100th Anniversary of Leroy Anderson's birth was June 29, 2008. Orchestras, bands and performers around the world continue to participate in the celebration by presenting Centennial Concerts and Events. Leroy Anderson: "Anderson Centennial"
New York Theatre Ballet, has included a Goldilocks piece in their production Dance/Speak: The Life of Agnes de Mille, which they hope to take on tour. San Francisco Ballet celebrated Leroy Anderson's 100th anniversary by presenting Mark Morris' ballet The Sandpaper Ballet containing all Leroy Anderson music. The National Ballet of Amsterdam also presented The Sandpaper Ballet. Knox-Galesburg Symphony, Illinois and West Hartford Symphony Orchestra, Connecticut presenting all Anderson tribute concerts in May. Goldilocks was presented in concert version by Opening Doors Theatre Company, New York.
